About Ordering Charts

We do not stock charts for areas that we do not sell regularly so that we can supply the most current editions for each order. However, whether you are making a purchase from our regular stock, or making a special order, please make your request at leaving enough time prior to your departure to avoid extra delivery charges or out-of-stock situations.

Average time we require to receive in chart orders without paying extra delivery fees varies from publisher to publisher:

Canadian Hydrographic charts: 2-3 days
NOAA & NIMA charts: 10-14 days
IMRAY charts: 28-35 days
Waterproof charts: 10-14 days
NDI charts: 7 days
Maptech charts: 7 days

Atlantic & Gulf Coasts

Most of our customers who plan a trip along the ICW use chart books (where available) instead of the government-published flat charts. The chart books have the advantage of being more economical and of a size more suitable to crusing boats. The disadvantage is that they are not updated between editions, where the goverment charts are updated to the date they are sent to the chart agent. We stock all chartbooks that cover the route from Great Lakes to Florida, plus the Bahamas. We also stock a variety of large-scale flat charts and those required to fill in between chartbook coverage.

Small-scale charts for the Canadian east coast or NOAA charts for the eastern seaboard of the US are ordered to order. See above for order times.

Inland Waters of North America

We stock all chartbooks and all government charts (both US and Canadian) for Great Lakes and associated waters including the St. Lawrence to Montreal.

We also stock the electronic charts for the Great Lakes area. You can buy CDs that cover only Canadian waters or more expensive product that covers both US and Canadian territory for the region you select.

We do not stock charts for the Mississippi/Tenn-Tom system which are produced by the US Corps of Engineers.

The Caribbean

We stock a full selection of paper charts for the Eastern Caribbean—both chartbooks and flat charts—including IMRAY, Caribbean Yachting Chart packages, Maptech, GeoCuba and a selection of NIMA charts.

NIMA charts for the Western Caribbean and e-charts are ordered to order. See above for order times.

Europe & the Mediterranean

We regularly supply charts for customers crossing "the pond" and planning cruises in European waters. IMRAY provides good coverage for most of the popular cruising areas. We stock charts that we sell frequently (like those for Greece) but order others on request. Please check with us for a more detailed list. See above for order times.

Although we are not a British Admiralty chart agents, we can make special orders. We also have access to sources for Norwegian and Danish charts as well and Dutch and German. We also bring in charts for the canal areas to order.

The Pacific & Indian Oceans

We stock very few charts for the West Coast of North America or further into the Pacific as there are so many charts available and each customer requires specific routing. We are happy to create customized chart lists on request. Please leave two weeks to refine the lists in addition to order lead time.
