  Berengaria
Berengaria
The definitive history of the "Berengaria", originally named the "SS Imperator". Launched only five weeks after the "Titanic" disaster, she was the longest and most luxurious ship in the world, and was intended to be one of the best ships on the transatlantic run. Renamed at the end of World War I, "Berengaria" became the Cunard flagship and had a long and productive service before being scrapped following World War II. Streater tells the story of this fine ship from her initial design and construction through her years of service.
