Jackiron: A Caribbean Adventure 
Hudson, an American charter boat captain in the Caribbean who is down on his luck, reluctantly accepts an impossible job because he needs the money. The unscrupulous owner of a small coastal freighter asks him to skipper an old rustbucket with a load of drilling equipment from Trinidad to Guadeloupe. Neither the ship nor the small crew are seaworthy. It takes Hudson two trips, a lot of determination, luck, and good seamanship to overcome storms, leaks, and engine trouble, and to separate three troublemakers who try to instigate mutiny in the few men he can rely on.
