Shipwreck Hunter: Deep, Dark & Deadly in the Great Lakes
Danny Fader was one of the best wreck divers in the Great Lakes. He was called "the human fish." Other parts of his life had gone to hell, but underwater he was a star among stars, a member of David Trotter's crack team of wreck hunters, one of the world's best. Year after year, the Trotter team regularly discovered and dove on more lost ships than almost any team anywhere. That was a plus. The minus was that virtually all these wrecks lay in the nightmarish waters of the Great Lakes, some of the deepest, darkest, coldest, and most dangerous in the world. On October 16, 1994, a youthful looking 48 year old, Danny Fader made the last dive of his life. It went bad. Very bad. He fully expected to die. What he didn't expect was redemption.
